You know when people are away and send you irritating pictures of themselves enjoying the sun, well here's mine! The reason for showing this, apart from the aforementioned, is that whilst playing the terrific Red Tail Golf Course with my long-time friend and Will Smith lookalike, Chris Taylor, we were allowed to play on a special member competition day. The format was to have the pin positions on all 18 greens in the toughest position and just for fun, two or three were on slopes which made the putting experience a tad more challenging than usual. Suffice to say, nobody managed under 36 putts for the day! I think we should do this one weekend at the club, make it a non-qualifier though! Tour News Speaking of difficult conditions, the PGA Tour had to opt for a Monday finish after 40mph winds buffeted the players off the course in the final round of the Californian competition. Brandt Snedeker recorded an amazing 69 on the final round, which when you consider the average score was 78 will be right up there as one of the rounds of 2016. As ever he putted brilliantly and at one stage he holed 14 out of 14 putts from 10 feet and several 30 footers on route to victory. In Europe, Brandan Grace won the Qatar Masters and now is just outside the top ten in the world, so keep an eye on him this season. Needless to say that tournament didn't suffer any unpleasant weather. I Need You! We are starting to receive all of the new products for 2016 and I am really excited to get my hands on some these products. New for 2016, we are looking for one or two product testers to help put all the new equipment through its paces. This would involve a session or two trying out the proudcts whilst gathering some technical data as well as taking the products out on the course to see if they really do what they say on the tin - all for free!
